Digital health provider Midnight Health announced today that it secured $24 million in Series B funding from nib holdings limited (nib) (ASX: NHF).

This recent capital infusion is set to enhance Midnight Health‘s growth, empowering the firm to develop new services and bring its innovative healthcare solutions to more Australian patients. Last year the company also won Grand Prix in Wildfire category, and we’ve interviewed Nic about his vision for Midnight Health, in this article.

Nic Blair, Midnight Health’s co-founder and CEO, highlighted the importance of the investment in accelerating their mission. “We are proud to bring healthcare equity to people across Australia, regardless of their location,” Blair said. “This investment will not only help us reach more patients but also fuel our ongoing drive for innovation in healthcare delivery.”

This funding success follows Midnight Health’s remarkable achievement as the winner of the 2022 Pause Awards. The victory in this prestigious competition further demonstrates the growing influence and recognition of Midnight Health in Australia’s healthcare scene.

Since its inception in 2021, Midnight Health has grown significantly, marking a 320% year-on-year growth rate and servicing over 85,000 customers. The company, with its suite of 27 products across three brands – hub.health, Youly, and Stagger – is set to continue this momentum, bolstered by the fresh investment and the prestige of the Pause Awards.

The Series B funding will be used to expand the business, build scale, and further develop its IT and service platforms. In addition, the funds will support the ongoing development of Midnight Health’s pioneering healthcare services, including same-day emergency contraceptive delivery and comprehensive telehealth consultations.

Entries should highlight innovative strategies that have optimised the customer journey, leading to increased engagement and commercial success. This track is for those who have effectively used their understanding of the market and customer needs to scale their business and achieve notable growth.

The Operators track seeks entries that showcase leadership in fostering innovation within their ecosystems. Ideal submissions will highlight how your initiatives have catalysed the creation of new products or services, bolstered by a culture that uplifts internal teams and the wider community. This track celebrates those who drive progress by empowering voices and forging transformative connections in their industry.
