What was your breakthrough moment?
In facing difficult economic conditions of late, especially after the COVID period, we have learned that retailers are struggling. Our internal data reflects the widely reported market conditions, with retailers finding cash flow challenging. It wasn’t enough for Kollektive to have in-demand products and brands driving traffic into stores; our retailers needed an agile response to consumer sentiment.
We swiftly implemented an initiative that reduced the minimum order quantity by over 50% across the board to ensure retailers had more choice and could order more frequently to adapt to ebbs and flows. This quick action allowed our retailers to see our agility and partnership for a long-term outlook.
Ultimately, the greater penetration of our portfolio and adoption of ‘new’ by retailers in a nervous B2B buying market has resulted in a lucrative return and invaluable trust. A continued sense of partnership is formed with our network.
