Some of you may be well versed with our awards categories — but did you know we’ve added about 14 new ones?

That’s right. The 2022 edition of Pause Awards will see a sum total of 31 awards categories — the biggest overhaul from our end to date!

It’s obvious that new categories means new opportunities, but let us help break down what they mean.

To navigate all our 31 segments, we’ve introduced 5 tracks that will help you understand where you fall. These are Growth, Excellence, Operators, Good, and Culture. While the 31 award categories are spread across these, the tracks also exist to help judges know which ones align best with their expertise, so that they judge nominees more strategically.

Let us give you a bit more insight into what these tracks mean:

Growth: This track houses categories that focus on productivity and the elegance of execution to deliver impactful ideas to a market. Entries for categories under Growth should essentially demonstrate how the innovation and optimisation of their customer journey has led to increased consumer engagement and commercial success!

Excellence: This track celebrates company’s demonstrating commercial effectiveness through success in the marketplace — those who’ve left a dent in the universe, regardless of their company size. We’re looking for entries that demonstrate the highest levels of expertise, leadership, and vision!

Operators: This one’s for all those who are elevating every voice in the ecosystem and consider doing so a part of not just industry development, but a collective success for future growth! The entries for categories under this track should demonstrate ingenuity and the ability to create new products and services that are thought-leadership that elevates not just the internal culture, but also the communities they serve.

Good: Under this track, we’re looking for teams who truly live their purpose and go beyond it — those who are aligned on a single mission, to positively impact the environment, the people, and the community. Entries for Good should demonstrate ideas that intend to change the world through work which challenges gender inequality, and social imbalance and injustice.

Culture: And to round our tracks off, we’ve got Culture which includes categories that recognise those companies who are creating a safe and inclusive space, where collaboration flows through all levels and titles. Entries under Culture will recognise those who believe in the power of one team, and those who’ve demonstrated positive impact and growth for the business, its staff, its stakeholders, and of course, its customers.

Given that you’d probably click away if we began describing all 31 awards categories that these tracks are housing — we’ve decided to break down just some of the ones that we’re especially excited about!

First up, we’ve got the Women in Business category. This award exists to recognise successful female leaders and entrepreneurs who are paving the way forward for future generations, irrespective of their industry.

Following this is another new category — the Design First — that will be awarded to a company that’s leveraged clever design to drive product innovation.

We’ve also got the Backbone category, as well as the Hottest Hub. While the former is for VC firms with a portfolio of companies that have made significant contributions to the growth of the Aussie economy, the latter award recognises co-working spaces that provide a boutique experience and world-class facilities along with ace community management.

Bookending the introduction of these exciting categories is the C-Suite and the Large Team Culture awards. As the name suggests, the C-Suite award is intended for the highest-ranking executives with impeccable leadership, management, and interpersonal skills. And the Large Team Culture category exists to recognise a workplace with over 1000+ employees that’s outpaced its cohort in fostering a culture of innovation.

Sounds sensational, right?

But that’s not all.

We’ve also come to realise that when it comes to nominations and enrolments, time is of the utmost essence. Which is precisely why we’ve decided to make your lives easier by providing you the option to enter the same answers across different categories of your choice and proceed straight to payment! Check out more details on our speedy checkout option here.

But wait! Before you proceed for nominations, we’ve got one final piece of news for you — an offer you can’t (and shouldn’t) refuse. If you decide to enter into 2 categories or more, you can enrol for the Company of the Year category at just 50% of the fee!

We know it’s overwhelming to decide which categories to even consider. So take a breather, and browse through our 5 tracks and their respective categories here.
